School Improvement Planning
Each year, we identify a number of key priorities for the improvement and development of the school during the academic year. These priorities are based on our self-evaluation of the school - our strengths and our areas for development. We identify these through the use of a number of different sources, such as:
- Internal and external data
- School monitoring
- National priorities and directives
- Successful strategies seen elsewhere
- Staff Performance Management
- Research-based approaches
For 2025/26, we have identified the following four priorities:
Priority 1 - Meeting the needs of the most vulnerable pupils
Priority 2 - Development of key curriculum areas
Priority 3 - Embed the principles of Quality First Teaching (QFT)
Priority 4 - Develop a culture of professional learning for all staff
