School Improvement Planning
Each year, we identify a number of key priorities for the improvement and development of the school during the academic year. These priorities are based on our self-evaluation of the school - our strengths and our areas for development. We identify these through the use of a number of different sources, such as:
- Internal and external data
- School monitoring
- National priorities and directives
- Successful strategies seen elsewhere
- Staff Performance Management
- Research-based approaches
For 2023/24, we have identified the following four priorities:
Priority 1 - To ensure that the needs of all children are met, particularly the most vulnerable
Priority 2 - To raise achievement in mathematics
Priority 3 - To develop effective assessment procedures that have a positive impact on learning across the curriculum
Priority 4 - To further embed and develop key priorities from 2022-23 (specifically reading, writing and well-being approaches)
