School Travel Plan
Our School is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for all, environmental issues and, above all, enhancing pupils’ safety on their journeys to and from school. This commitment is evidenced in the wide range of activity already in place but we are keen to do more – to stretch our targets, innovate, and collaborate with other organisations – in order to achieve the highest standards of travel related practice and planning.

On Friday 1 July 2016, our Year 5 Junior Road Safety Officers were invited to County Hall to collect our silver Travelwise Award. This is in recognition of the school’s travel plan and resulting actions to ensure safe and sustainable travel to and from St Lawrence for our children. They also made a presentation about their role as Junior Road Safety Officers and outlined some of their ideas to help us all stay safe when out and about. Well done!
